Job summary

Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA, seeks a Warehouse Associate for Access Control I to support warehouse operations by issuing and processing items, receiving shipments, documenting inventory activity, organizing and staging materials, and delivering materials to jobsites.

The role supports Doors & Hardware, Electronic Access Control, Preventative Maintenance, Lockshop, and other Access Control needs. A high school diploma and LU forklift license within 3 months are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Warehouse, inventory, receiving, or related material-handling experience preferred.
• Ability to learn Access Control warehouse procedures and inventory processes.
• Organization, computer, spreadsheet, data entry, and recordkeeping skills preferred.
• LU Forklift License must be obtained within 3 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Accurately documents parts, equipment, and materials in Access Control warehouses.
• Maintains knowledge of hardware, product names, nomenclature, and product codes.
• Issues parts and materials to Technicians.
• Performs regular cycle counts and reports discrepancies to Warehouse Manager.
• Operates a forklift when trained and licensed.
• Receives shipments and verifies against packing slips; documents discrepancies.
• Maintains inventory counts in BuyLU Inventory and related spreadsheets.
• Delivers materials to jobsites and stages materials for projects.
• Cross-trains to support other Access Control teams and ensures safety compliance.
