Job description

We are seeking a motivated technologist to join our team to assist with the administration, support, documentation, and improvement of campus access control and video surveillance systems as part of the Enterprise Systems & Solutions team, a unit within Information Technology Services (ITS). This position will support the Lenel OnGuard access control system, the Milestone video management system, and related technologies used to manage door access, camera systems, wireless locks, and physical security workflows across campus. This position will work closely with University Police, Maintenance and Operations, the ITS Network Operations unit, vendors, contractors, and other campus partners to support reliable and effective access control and video surveillance services. The successful candidate will assist with daily system support, troubleshooting, documentation, vendor coordination, system monitoring, and planning for upgrades or expansions. This work includes supporting existing buildings, renovations, new construction, and future security technology improvements. The position requires strong attention to detail, sound judgment, effective communication, and a commitment to supporting campus safety and operational continuity.

This includes administrative computing, web development, integration, system support, and network infrastructure management.
