Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Installs, repairs and modifies access control readers and electric locks.
  • Maintains electronic locking systems, including strikes and hinges.
  • Troubleshoots and replaces motors and gearboxes as needed.
  • Keeps accurate records of lock inventories, locations and authorizations.
  • Procures parts and materials for lock-related work activities.
  • Surveys systems and recommends keying and sub-keying options.
  • May perform journeyman locksmith duties as needed.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
