Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Five years' experience working with locks, lock hardware, access control systems, door hardware, facilities operations, maintenance or related experience.
• Valid Ohio driver’s license.
• Locksmith certification or obtain within four months from date of hire.
• Knowledge of access control system, end-user device platforms, application software, and desktop office computing.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Lock Shop operations support, including supervising classified, temporary, or student employees.
• Provide repair service and troubleshooting for electronic access control system components.
• Install, adjust, and maintain door closures, locks, electronic strikes, and related hardware.
• Configures and maintains access control panels and software integration.
• Maintain inventory levels of electronic components and lock hardware.
• Coordinate with departments and vendors to ensure adherence to standards.
