Job summary

Bright Minds' client seeks an experienced Access Control Specialist and Security Service Technician to support commercial customers throughout the Indianapolis market, including data centers, hospitals, banks, and industrial sites.

You will work with a dedicated team to deliver excellent service, perform access control troubleshooting, programming, system upgrades, and small project work on next‑generation access control, video surveillance, intrusion, and related electronic security systems.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience servicing, integrating, and programming access control systems.
• Experience with Lenel, Genetec, C‑Cure, AMAG, or S2.
• Background diagnosing both equipment and software-related Access Control issues.
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
• Ability to travel regularly to local jobsites with minimal overnight travel.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide access control troubleshooting and maintenance for client systems.
• Program access control systems and perform system upgrades.
• Carry out preventative maintenance and small project work on access control, video surveillance, and intrusion systems.
• Collaborate with customers to schedule service calls and ensure satisfaction.
• Document work performed and communicate findings clearly to clients.
