Job summary

Amentum is seeking a vigilant physical security specialist to support a US intelligence community customer at a Fort Meade area site. You will play a critical role in workplace and mission security, providing customer service while maintaining strict access control policies.

The role requires an active Top-Secret clearance, ability to work 2nd or 3rd shift, and readiness to meet 24/7 security demands. If you are accurate, reliable, and prepared to travel locally, consider joining our team.

Qualifications

• Active Top-Secret clearance required.
• Ability to work 2nd shift (2:00 p.m.–10:00 p.m.) or 3rd shift (10:00 p.m.–6:00 a.m.) Sunday–Thursday.
• U.S. citizenship required and TS/SCI with Poly possible.
• Must live within 75 miles of Annapolis Junction, MD and be open to travel within 10–15 miles.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control access of employees and visitors to restricted areas.
• Ensure prohibited items do not enter or leave the building.
• Provide excellent customer service to employees and visitors.
• Remain alert and adapt to changing conditions in a fast-paced environment.
