Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, seeks a Security Officer Full Time - HWY 225 in Deer Park, TX. You will safeguard clients in chemical/petrochemical settings, manage access, verify credentials, and deliver professional customer service with integrity.

The role requires a valid driver’s license and TSA-issued TWIC; driving duties are part of the role. Hiring bonus applies for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

Customer service experience is preferred.
A valid driver’s license is required.
possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a chemical/petrochemical location.
Monitor access control points, verify credentials and authorization, maintain visitor and contractor entry records, and report unauthorized access attempts or irregularities.
Control vehicle and pedestrian access to restricted areas, follow site entry requirements, and communicate access-related concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal supervision.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, business areas, perimeter locations, and other assigned areas, reporting hazards, damaged equipment, or unusual conditions.
