Job summary

Allied Universal in Waverly, NE is hiring a Security Officer Access Control to manage entry points, verify credentials, issue badges, and monitor access activity at an industrial retail and distribution site. You will deliver professional customer service, document security-related information, and work as part of a team dedicated to a secure environment.

The role requires protecting people and property, performing patrols, and responding to incidents while following site procedures and safety

Qualifications

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and delivery drivers by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at an industrial retail and distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and direct personnel and vehicles according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking lots, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or access-control concerns.
• Assist with receiving and shipping area access procedures, including checking credentials and following site requirements for vendor, contractor, and delivery vehicle entry.
