Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Access Management in Salt Lake City, UT. You will guard and monitor access at a distribution site, perform patrols, and provide exceptional customer service while enforcing site policies and safety protocols.

The role requires age 18+ for unarmed positions (21+ for armed), a high school diploma, and a background check. Training and benefits are offered as part of Allied Universal’s comprehensive program.

Qualifications

• Experience with access control and badge systems preferred.
• X-ray screening experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Guard Card or license preferred.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients at a logistics and distribution location following site procedures and emergency response actions when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and security concerns calmly and follow reporting/escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of distribution areas, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized personnel and visitors, and document observations and incidents.
• Support smooth flow of employees, drivers, vendors, and deliveries while maintaining a professional presence.
