Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer Access Control Reception in Hardeeville, SC. The role involves managing site entry, verifying credentials, monitoring access points, and maintaining a visible presence to deter incidents.

The position is full-time with a pay rate of $18.50 per hour. Schedule is Mon–Fri, 4:30 PM–12:30 AM, at a logistics and distribution location.

Qualifications

Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
Background check and drug screen required as a condition of employment.
Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out access-control procedures and site-specific policies.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, maintain logs, and direct authorized personnel.
Respond to incidents and other security-related concerns in a calm, problem-solving manner and notify site leadership.
Conduct regular patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to identify unauthorized activity.
Support the orderly flow of vehicular and pedestrian traffic per site procedures.
