Qualifications

• Provide customer service to clients while following site policies and access-control requirements.
• Respond to security-related concerns and assist in emergency procedures when needed.
• Maintain visitor logs and direct personnel in accordance with site procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control requirements, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, maintain visitor logs, and direct employees, drivers, contractors, and delivery personnel in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, loading areas, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or security-related concerns.
• Document daily activities, incidents, and access-control exceptions accurately and communicate relevant information during shift handoffs.
