Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must pass background check and drug screen.
• Licensing may be required by state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license where applicable.
• 18+ (21+ for armed roles) per minimum requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control protocols, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access to the location by verifying credentials, issuing visitor passes, maintaining visitor records, and directing authorized individuals to appropriate areas.
• Respond to access-control concerns, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Monitor entry points, alarms, cameras, and access-control systems; report irregularities, damaged equipment, and unauthorized access attempts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of designated interior and exterior areas, including entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter, to help deter unauthorized activity.
