Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer (Full Time Access Coordination) in Kahului, HI. You will manage entry points, verify badges, and provide exceptional customer service to clients, visitors, and employees.

The role involves monitoring access, coordinating vehicle/delivery access, and responding to incidents with a calm, solution-focused approach. Strong eligibility requirements include a high school diploma and background check where required.

Qualifications

• Must have a guard card or license preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation as per laws.
• Criminal histories considered in accordance with laws.
• Drug screen may be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures and emergency responses.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and maintain logs for visitors, contractors, and drivers.
• Coordinate vehicle and delivery access by directing drivers and communicating arrival information to site personnel.
• Respond calmly to incidents and access concerns, escalating per site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity.
