Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for Full Time Access Control Monitoring in Groveport, OH. You will safeguard clients, manage entry points, verify credentials, and deliver strong customer service in a tech/media/telecom environment.

Responsibilities include monitoring access systems, maintaining visitor records, responding to incidents, and patrolling facilities to deter unauthorized activity.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver\'s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location while carrying out site-specific procedures and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access control systems, verify credentials, manage visitor registration, and maintain accurate access-related records in accordance with site policies.
• Control entry and exit points for personnel, guests, vendors, and deliveries; report unauthorized access attempts and irregular conditions to appropriate site contacts.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access issues, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, common areas, and the business perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
