Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Controlled Entry in Lexington, NC to safeguard clients at an industrial site. You will verify credentials, manage badge access, monitor entry points, and communicate professionally with employees and visitors.

This full-time role requires minimum two years of security experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a customer-service mindset. You will conduct patrols, log activities, and respond to incidents promptly.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Armed roles require 21+ years of age; unarmed roles require 18+.
• A background check and drug screening are required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures and emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain access logs.
• Control access for vehicles, deliveries, and contractors per procedures and communicate with site contacts as needed.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and document activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, business areas, and perimeter locations to identify and report unusual conditions or policy concerns.
