Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer Access Point Monitor in Umatilla, FL. You will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and maintain a visible presence to deter incidents.

This full-time role requires a high school diploma, a guard card/license if applicable, and the ability to pass background checks and drug screening. You will engage with employees, guests, and vendors while following site procedures.

Qualifications

• Guard Card/License preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing may be required by state/local laws.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, employees and delivery personnel while following site access-control procedures.
• Monitor entry/exit points, verify IDs, issue visitor credentials and log access data.
• Screen deliveries and contractors, directing authorized personnel to designated areas.
• Respond to alarms/incidents calmly and report through established channels.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points and surrounding areas to deter unauthorized activity.
