Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Entry Management in Clayton, OH to safeguard clients, manage entry points, verify credentials, and maintain a welcoming environment at an industrial location.

This full-time role requires shift coverage including nights, with emphasis on reporting incidents, conducting regular patrols, and upholding safety and service standards using allied tools and procedures.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access policies, and emergency response activities at an industrial manufacturing location.
• Monitor and control access to facilities, production areas, offices, and restricted locations by verifying credentials, issuing visitor and contractor passes, and maintaining required access records.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, parking areas, building perimeters, and designated interior areas to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
• Document daily activities, incidents, visitor activity, and access-control issues through clear and accurate reports.
