Job summary

Securitas is hiring an Access Control Security Officer in Michigan. The role focuses on monitoring client sites, reporting incidents, and maintaining a safe environment while delivering professional customer service. Training is provided and experience is not required.

Evening and weekend availability is required; strong computer and technology comfort is favored to operate access control systems and security technology.

Access Control Security Officer

Wage: $19.00 per hour

Works well independently and maintains a professional demeanor. Must be available to work weekends and 2nd/3rd shifts. Security experience preferred. Must be comfortable with computers and technology.

No experience is required. Retail, food service, or hospitality background is a great fit. Training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Full and part‑time positions available
• Excellent customer service skills
• Must pass drug screen and background check
• Must meet applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guards

Job Responsibilities

• Observe and report activities and incidents at assigned client site to ensure security and safety of property and personnel
• Perform frequent sitting, standing, walking, climbing stairs, and walking up inclines on uneven terrain for extended periods
• Lift up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds
• Maintain a safe and secure environment by actively monitoring premises, patrolling locations, preserving order, enforcing regulations, and providing customer service
