Job summary

Securitas, Inc. is hiring for an Access Control Security Officer. The role is full-time with a rotating 15-week schedule: 10 weeks at 40 hours and 5 weeks at 32 hours. Shift hours are 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, with some weekends and holidays required.

You will monitor access, patrol the warehouse, and log incidents using a company device. Physical duties include sitting, standing, and occasional lifting. Prioritizing customer service, security presence, and clear communication, the position offers

Qualifications

• Ability to pass drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a guard post to monitor employees and guests for access control.
• Monitor premises and provide security presence throughout the warehouse.
• Log patrols and incident reports using company-issued phone.
• Report activities and incidents at client sites; enforce site regulations.
• Occasionally lift and move up to 25 pounds; routine walking and standing.

Access Control Security Officer

Wage: $18.00/ hour

Job Information:

• Full-time position

• Shift Hours: 1500-2300

• Rotating schedule- 15-week rotation ... 10 weeks at 40 hours and 5 weeks at 32 hours

• This post will require some weekends and holidays

• Maintain a guard post to monitor employees and guests to maintain access control

• Sitting and standing for extended periods of time are required

• Foot patrols consist of 1/2 a mile walk two to three times per shift

• We monitor temperatures, safety, and maintain a secure presence throughout the warehouse

• We use a company issued cell phone to log patrols, incident reports as well as daily action reports

• Computer, written and verbal communication skills are required

• Company issued uniform is required at all times

• No outside electronics

Security Officer/Guard:

• Security Positions are Full and Part Time
• Must have excellent Customer Service skills
• Security positions require you pass our drug screen and background check
• Must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guard

Job Requirements of the Security Officer/Security Guard include but are not limited to:

• Security Officers/Security Guards observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel.
• Frequent sitting, standing and walking, which may be required for long periods of time, and may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain.
• Additional physical requirements of the security officer/guard may include frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds
