Job summary

Securitas, Inc. is seeking an Access Control Security Officer in Indiana's Greenfield area to support our security team. You will patrol, observe, and report incidents to ensure the safety of client property and personnel, and you must hold a valid driver’s license with weekend availability.

Qualifications

• Must have excellent customer service skills.
• Security positions require you pass drug screen and background check.
• Must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guard.
• No experience required; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Observe and report activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel.
• Frequent sitting, standing and walking for long periods, may involve stairs and uneven terrain.
• Physical requirements may include lifting up to 25 pounds.

Security Officer/Guard:

• Security Positions are Full and Part Time
• Must have excellent Customer Service skills
• Security positions require you pass our drug screen and background check

Job Requirements of the Security Officer/Security Guard include but are not limited to:

• Security Officers/Security Guards observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel.
• Frequent sitting, standing and walking, which may be required for long periods of time, and may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain.
• Additional physical requirements of the security officer/guard may include frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds

They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. Frequently our Security Officers will provide customer service and information to a client’s employees and customers.
