Job summary

Amentum is seeking an Access Control Specialist to support the DHS/ICE Camp East Montana contract in El Paso, TX. The ACS will manage background investigations, security clearances, and access control for the site, coordinating with government points of contact and maintaining security databases.

The role requires knowledge of DHS security programs, NISPOM, and related procedures, with a preference for prior guard force management experience and an active DHS clearance.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years processing background investigation paperwork (SF-86) in government or military context.
• One year of guard force management experience preferred.
• Knowledge of DHS personnel security programs and related policies.
• Experience with government databases and security regulations.

Responsibilities

• Collect data for background checks and prepare security clearance submittals.
• Oversee facility security, including physical and personnel security and handling of classified material.
• Maintain DD254s and administer sub-DD254s as needed.
• Coordinate security clearance processing and access control procedures.
• Engage with government POCs and conduct internal security audits.
