Job summary

BTI Security is seeking professional and reliable Access Control Officers to support a federal contract in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. This role requires guarding government facilities, verifying credentials, and maintaining logs while ensuring compliance with federal security procedures. Candidates must be a U.S.

citizen with an active Top Secret clearance and SCI eligibility. No prior access control experience is required; paid training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain SCI access.
• Pass all required background and adjudication processes.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced federal security environment.
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Control access to secured government facilities and restricted areas
• Verify credentials, badges, and authorization for personnel and visitors
• Monitor entry and exit points in accordance with federal security procedures
• Maintain accurate logs, reports, and incident documentation
• Respond professionally to security incidents and emergencies
• Follow all site-specific post orders and access control procedures
• Protect sensitive and classified environments through strict adherence to security protocols
• Maintain professionalism and strong communication with government personnel, visitors, and team members
