Jetro Restaurant Depot is seeking a Security & Logistics Coordinator to safeguard the facility and manage inbound truck traffic. The role involves guarding the entrance, verifying shipments, controlling access, and coordinating with drivers and internal teams for safe, accurate operations.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to build rapport quickly.
• Initiative and urgency in completing tasks with creative problem solving.
• Basic math to count and verify quantities of products.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in all records and actions.
• High school diploma or equivalent; security or logistics training preferred.
• Prior experience in security, truck gate operations, or logistics coordination preferred.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with logistics tracking systems (TMS/WMS a plus).

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control access to the facility, verify driver credentials, load documents, and visitor IDs.
• Maintain a secure perimeter through visual checks and surveillance.
• Serve as first contact for inbound truck drivers with clear docking, unloading, and safety instructions.
• Log inbound loads into the tracking system with accuracy and completeness.
• Coordinate load priorities with warehouse, dispatch, and operations; resolve scheduling conflicts.
• Respond to security incidents or emergencies per established procedures.
• Maintain incident and activity reports for security and logistics.
• Keep the guard shack organized and stocked for daily operations.
