Job summary

Gator Strong Services is seeking an Access Controls & Gate Operator Technician to install, maintain, and troubleshoot access control systems and gate operators at client sites. You will diagnose issues, perform preventative maintenance, and help design security solutions.

The role requires reading blueprints and schematics, using multimeters and power tools, and delivering excellent service in a fast-paced environment. On-site work with travel to facilities is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience installing and servicing access control systems, gate operators, or low-voltage components.
• Solid electrical knowledge with NEC compliance and power tool usage.
• Familiarity with networking concepts and remote access software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and service access control systems and gate operators.
• Maintain and repair gate operators and associated sensors and equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues in low-voltage cabling and power supplies.
• Perform field service visits for diagnosis, maintenance, and upgrades.
• Provide system design input and assist with access controls sales when appropriate.
• Document service activities with detailed reports for clients and team.
