Job summary

Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company, seeks a Security Guard Access Control Driver in Sulphur, LA. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access, and patrol the site at a chemical/petrochemical location.

The role requires a valid driver's license, 1+ year security or 3 years related experience, and a willingness to drive to assignments. We offer training, benefits, and career growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include a valid driver’s license in the job state.
• At least 1 year of law enforcement experience or 2–3 years in security roles.
• Access control/badge experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is a bonus.
• Site may have limited on-site facilities; adaptability is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide security services to personnel, visitors, and contractors per site policies.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, manage visitor and contractor entry.
• Respond calmly to alarms and incidents following site protocols.
• Conduct routine and random patrols of access points and restricted areas.
• Communicate observations to site contacts and leadership per reporting procedures.
