Qualifications

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, patients, and contractors while following site-specific security procedures.
• Verify credentials and manage access for staff and visitors in healthcare facilities.
• Respond calmly to alarms and incidents following site procedures and notify appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to deter unauthorized access and identify security concerns.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, patients, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor and control access to healthcare-related facilities by verifying credentials, managing visitor entry, issuing access credentials, and maintaining accurate access logs.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
• Assist with maintaining orderly entry and exit procedures for staff, visitors, deliveries, and/or contractors while providing professional communication and support.
