Job summary

ASRC Federal Cyber LLC is seeking an Access Control Clerk (Guard II) with an active DoD Secret clearance or higher to enforce security procedures and respond to incidents. Duties include badge management, visitor verification, and logging.

Be flexible with daytime hours and possible weekend/holiday requirements as requested by the customer. Compensation includes $20.34 per hour plus a $5.09 health and welfare bonus.

Qualifications

  • Must have an active DoD Secret or higher clearance.
  • Strong attention to detail in routine record-keeping.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills; proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

  • Register building access badges in the Lenel system per approved access requests.
  • Greet visitors, verify clearances and notify the Point of Contact (POC).
  • Assist meeting coordinators by verifying visitor lists and preparing badges.
  • Maintain a daily log/database of visitors, POC, dates, and badge numbers.
  • Ensure compliance with the Portable Electronic Device Policy for tenants and visitors.
  • Open, secure, and annotate zones per SOPs for Secret and below, and document accordingly.
  • Perform other duties as outlined in the SOW.

Job description

ASRC Federal Cyber LLC is hiring an Access Control Clerk with an active DoD Secret clearance or higher. The Access Control Clerk (Guard II) enforces regulations and procedures designed to prevent breaches of security, exercises judgment and uses discretion in responding to incidents and emergencies, determining whether to intervene directly, ask for assistance as time permits, keep situation under control or surveillance, or to report incident or situation to the appropriate authority for handling. Duties require specialized training in methods and techniques of protecting controlled areas. Must be flexible with daytime hours, possibility of weekend or holiday requirements at customer's request.

Compensation:

$20.34 + $5.09 health and welfare bonus an hour.

Responsible for the following:
  • Register building access badges in the Lenel system, adding accesses per approved access request forms and process initial building access badges pins and/or pin resets
  • Respectfully greet visitors, verify clearances and notify Point of Contact (POC)
  • Assist meeting coordinators by receiving list of visitors and verifying their clearances in advance to have badges prepared
  • Maintain a daily log/database documenting visitors (Visitor, Contractor or Government personnel), Points of Contact (POC), date and time of arrival/departure, employer, and the visitor badge number assigned. Dependent on Departments’ operating procedures security classification level of authorized access shall be documented. Authorization shall be established based on security classification level
  • Ensure tenants and visitors are adhering to the Portable Electronic Device Policy
  • Open, secure, and alarm zones in accordance with building standard operating procedures, Open Storage Secret and below, and properly annotate such on the SF702
  • All other duties as outlined in the Statement of Work (SOW)
Requirements:
  • Must have an active DOD Secret Clearance or higher. Candidates without a minimum of a Secret clearance will not be considered.
  • Perform access control functions by providing support at a main or front desk
  • Routine record keeping functions with attention to detail
  • Demonstrated effective oral and written communication skillsDemonstrated skills with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint), basic correspondence, answering and screening incoming telephone calls, and the operation of basic office equipment.
