Job summary

Network180 in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking an Access Center Clinician or BSW to provide crisis intervention, screenings, assessments, and referral services for adults and children. Work may occur in person or via telehealth, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 2pm to 10pm and on-call rotation.

Candidates must have a Master’s degree (for clinician) or Bachelor’s with Michigan licensure, plus strong communication and ability to work under pressure.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Social Work or Psychology, Counseling, or related field.
  • Michigan licensure as LBSW/LPCC/LMFT or eligible and licensure within three months.
  • Knowledge of psychological, emotional, and sociological assessment and diagnosis.
  • Knowledge of ethics and standards of practice.
  • Valid driver’s license and transportation.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and rationally.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Computer skills: word processing, spreadsheets, email, database management, data entry.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to bridge language/cultural barriers to Network180 services.

We are seeking an Access Center Clinician OR BSW. This position provides crisis intervention, screenings, assessments, and referral services for both adults and children. Activities may take place in a variety of settings and via face-to-face contact or telehealth (video or telephonic).

This position is full-time, scheduled Monday through Friday from 2pm to 10pm at 790 Fuller Ave NE Grand Rapids, Michigan 49503. This position includes on-call, holiday and weekend rotation.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR MASTER’S
  • Master’s degree in Social Work or Psychology, Counseling, or Counseling Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapist.
  • Licensure in the State of Michigan as a licensed master social worker, professional counselor, marriage and family therapist, or psychologist; OR be eligible for a limited license as stated above and obtain that licensure within three months of hire.
  • Thorough working knowledge of the practices and principles of psychological, emotional, and sociological assessment and diagnosis.
  • Thorough working knowledge of professional ethics and standards of practice.
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation for job related use.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and rationally.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, email, database management, and data entry skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in stressful situations.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment and skills and capabilities of bridging language/cultural barriers to Network180 services within diverse communities.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR MASTER’S:
  • Licensed Master Social Worker preferred.
  • Credentialed through the Michigan Certificate Board for Addiction Professionals.
  • Lived experiences with mental illness/developmental disabilities/substance use disorders valued.
