Job description

You've Never Been Satisfied with \"Good Enough.\"

You didn't get into this to manage one piece of a project. You got into it to change how the world gets built.

At Accenture Construct, that's the job. You'll help deliver the data centers, power grids, rail networks, factories and public infrastructure that keep communities moving — smarter, safer and more sustainably.

You'll work alongside people who think big and act bold: project managers, engineers, technologists and strategists who pair real-world delivery with AI. And you won't be handed a slice of it. We take on whole programs, from early strategy through construction and handover, and we stand behind how they land.

Because “good enough” builds the past. You're here to build what's next.

As Accenture continues to grow, you may see a variety of new career opportunities, and depending on the role and location you may be directed to apply through Accenture LLP or one of our other legal entities - Accenture Construct LLC or Accenture Construct Inc., with benefits varying by country and role, so please check with your recruiter for details.

THE WORK:
  • You'll support the Construction Manager and Resident Engineer with day-to-day contract administration, including reviewing contract requirements, monitoring budgets and costs, and preparing project reports.
  • You'll review, track, process, and distribute construction submittals, RFIs, change requests, design submittals, shop drawings, product data, work plans, meeting minutes, and key project correspondence.
  • You'll review submittals, deliverables, and construction documentation for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with project requirements, while coordinating reviews, approvals, and comment resolution.
  • You'll manage document control and change control processes, maintain project logs and distribution lists, and ensure the official project record is accurately maintained within the project management information system (PMIS).
  • You'll maintain current contract documents, including drawings, specifications, approved-for-construction documents, shop drawings, design revisions, and other controlled technical records.
  • You'll track and report the status of submittals, RFIs, change requests, and technical reviews, while preparing dashboards, spreadsheets, meeting minutes, and action item logs.
You'll support the preparation, review, and processing of contractor progress payments, invoices, quantity documentation, and related project records.
  • You'll assist with change management and contract modifications by maintaining change logs, supporting cost and schedule evaluations, documenting negotiations, and preparing change order and claims documentation.
  • You'll coordinate with field inspectors and technical staff to monitor construction activities for compliance with project requirements, safety standards, permits, schedules, budgets, and applicable codes.
  • You'll support project schedule administration by tracking contractor schedules, milestones, look-ahead plans, interfaces, and schedule-related action items.
  • You'll analyze drawings, specifications, and technical documentation and support constructability and design reviews by tracking comments, responses, and final dispositions.
  • You'll coordinate project documentation and technical interfaces with utilities, third-party agencies, permitting authorities, testing teams, commissioning personnel, and transit operations staff.
  • You'll assist with contract compliance activities for federally funded projects, including documentation and recordkeeping related to Buy America, Davis-Bacon, prevailing wage, and DBE requirements.
  • You'll prepare project status reports, technical memoranda, correspondence, presentations, estimates, and other materials required by clients and project leadership.
  • You'll support contract administration activities before and after award, including contract document preparation, modifications, final inspections, acceptance documentation, and contractor coordination.
  • You'll support project closeout activities, including punch list management, as-built documentation, O&M manuals, warranties, training records, final submittals, turnover packages, and project record archiving.
  • Onsite at client site: The work location for this role is onsite with our clients and partners to enable delivery and cultivate our client relationships. There will be both day and night shift assignments.
HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Business Administration, or another related field.
  • Three (3) or more years of experience as a Project Engineer, Office Engineer, or in a similar construction administration role on transit, transportation, or public infrastructure projects.
  • Valid Washington State driver's license, or ability to obtain one
BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:
  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or registration as a Professional Engineer
  • Working knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, submittals, RFIs, contract changes, pay applications, schedules, document control, and closeout documentation
  • Working knowledge of WSDOT and APWA Standard Specifications for Road, Bridge, and Municipal Construction
  • Experience supporting FTA-funded construction projects and familiarity with federal contract compliance requirements
  • Experience with alternative delivery methods, particularly GC/CM and design-build, is preferred, including experience supporting preconstruction and construction phases
  • Experience with EV charging or transit electrification infrastructure
  • Contractor-side experience as a Project Engineer, Assistant Project Manager, or similar role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SharePoint; familiarity with Procore, e-Builder, Unifier, Primavera Contract Management, or a similar PMIS is preferred.

$90,000 - $125,000 a year

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Illinois, Maine, Minnesota, California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Maryland, Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey, Ohio, Virginia or Washington as set forth below.

We accept applications on an on-going basis and there is no fixed deadline to apply.

WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU
  • The biggest builds going. Hyperscale data centers, grid and generation, transit and rail, chip fabs, mines, water. If it's complex and it matters, it's on our list.
  • You own the outcome. Not a workstream. Not a deliverable. Whether the program lands.
  • AI that shows up on site. Program control that predicts instead of records. You'll use it, and you'll help shape it.
  • Scale without the distance. More than 5,000 practitioners across the Americas, EMEA and APAC, on a team small enough that people know your name.
  • Serious investment in you. Leadership development, technical upskilling and certification support.
  • Work that outlasts you. People will use what you build for forty years without knowing your name. That's the point.
  • Recognition that means something in this industry. Accenture Construct is ranked #6 globally in ENR's 2026 Top 50 Program Management Firms and #4 in Building Design + Construction's Top 80 Construction Management Firms for 2026.
ABOUT ACCENTURE CONSTRUCT
  • Accenture Construct is Accenture's global capital projects business.
  • The data centers behind AI. The grid behind the energy transition. The rail, water and airports everything else runs on.
  • We plan them, engineer them, deliver them and hand them over — and unlike most of this market, we're on the hook for whether they land on time. More than 5,000 practitioners across the Americas, EMEA and APAC. One team that owns the whole thing.
