Job description

You've Never Been Satisfied with \"Good Enough.\"

You didn't get into this to manage one piece of a project. You got into it to change how the world gets built.

At Accenture Construct, that's the job. You'll help deliver the data centers, power grids, rail networks, factories and public infrastructure that keep communities moving — smarter, safer and more sustainably.

You'll work alongside people who think big and act bold: project managers, engineers, technologists and strategists who pair real-world delivery with AI. And you won't be handed a slice of it. We take on whole programs, from early strategy through construction and handover, and we stand behind how they land.

Because “good enough” builds the past. You're here to build what's next.

As Accenture continues to grow, you may see a variety of new career opportunities, and depending on the role and location you may be directed to apply through Accenture LLP or one of our other legal entities - Accenture Construct LLC or Accenture Construct Inc., with benefits varying by country and role, so please check with your recruiter for details.

THE WORK:
  • You’ll serve as a senior seller-doer, leading major rail and transit programs while driving targeted business development across Greater Philadelphia and the Northeast Corridor.
  • You’ll provide executive leadership across the full project lifecycle, including pre-construction, procurement, construction, testing, commissioning, and closeout.
  • You’ll lead capture efforts for PMC, construction management, and Owner’s Representative opportunities, building agency relationships, shaping pursuit strategy, and leading proposals and interviews.
  • You’ll oversee multiple design-build and alternative delivery contracts, managing scope, schedule, budget, risk, change, claims, and contractual requirements.
  • You’ll serve as a senior client advisor and primary liaison across executive leadership, project controls, legal, regulatory agencies, local jurisdictions, utilities, and community stakeholders.
  • You’ll lead multidisciplinary teams across construction management, design support, safety, quality, environmental compliance, project controls, and stakeholder coordination.
  • You’ll establish project governance, reporting, and performance controls that proactively surface risks and support compliance with applicable rail and FTA/FRA requirements.
  • You’ll strengthen Accenture’s regional market presence by developing senior relationships with SEPTA, Amtrak, PATCO/DRPA, NJ Transit, PennDOT, and other Northeast Corridor transportation authorities.
WORK LOCATION

Flexible: This role includes a mix of remote work, client-site work, and time in an Accenture office or center.

Every role includes some in-person time for collaboration, learning, and building relationships with clients, peers, leaders, and communities. Accenture will be as flexible as possible in supporting individual work and life needs.

HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field.Minimum 15 years of progressively responsible experience managing and delivering major rail or transit infrastructure projects of comparable size and complexity
  • Active Professional Engineer license
  • Demonstrated experience in business development, capture management, or client relationship development within the public transit or transportation consulting sector
BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:
  • Pennsylvania or New Jersey Professional Engineer licensure and Certified Construction Manager certification
  • Experience delivering major programs for SEPTA, Amtrak, NJ Transit, PATCO/DRPA, PennDOT, or comparable Northeast Corridor transportation agencies
  • Experience with design-build, CM/GC, P3, or other alternative delivery methods, including contract administration, risk allocation, claims management, and dispute resolution
  • Knowledge of the Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey stakeholder environment, including local permitting, utilities, federal funding requirements, and public-agency project delivery frameworks
WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU

The biggest builds going. Hyperscale data centers, grid and generation, transit and rail, chip fabs, mines, water. If it's complex and it matters, it's on our list.

You own the outcome. Not a workstream. Not a deliverable. Whether the program lands.

AI that shows up on site. Program control that predicts instead of records. You'll use it, and you'll help shape it.

Scale without the distance. More than 5,000 practitioners across the Americas, EMEA and APAC, on a team small enough that people know your name.

Serious investment in you. Leadership development, technical upskilling and certification support.

Work that outlasts you. People will use what you build for forty years without knowing your name. That's the point.

Recognition that means something in this industry. Accenture Construct is ranked #6 globally in ENR's 2026 Top 50 Program Management Firms and #4 in Building Design + Construction's Top 80 Construction Management Firms for 2026.
