Job summary

NSA is seeking Linguists (MDLAs) to support the Language Analysis Development Program (LADP) or direct-hire analytic roles. Candidates must show ILR 2/2 proficiency and have relevant language experience.

The LADP lasts up to three years with multiple operational tours and intensive training. Selected applicants will be placed in analytic roles within the SIGINT mission, focusing on language materials and intelligence analysis across diverse offices.

Qualifications

• ILR level 2/2 in reading and listening for target language.
• At least one year of relevant experience in language work or related fields.
• For Full Performance and Senior levels, leadership experience may be required or beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, transcribe, and translate key information for policymakers and leaders.
• Research cultures and geopolitical contexts relevant to foreign languages.
• Develop creative solutions to analytic problems from diverse data sources.
• Demonstrate understanding of communications and technology trends.
• Craft written and oral assessments with unique insights.
• Collaborate within NSA and with IC analysts on research and reporting.
