Job summary

Peraton is seeking ACAS Systems Engineers to support the SITEC 3 EOM contract at MacDill AFB, Florida. The role focuses on security operations, vulnerability management, and ASI planning to sustain 24x7 operations for USSOCOM networks and endpoints.

Responsibilities include vulnerability scanning, remediation, patch management, and STIG compliance, with DoD 8570 IAT II certification and TS/SCI clearance required. The position offers potential overtime and shift differential where applicable.

Qualifications

• Min 12 years with HS degree, 10 years with AS/AA degree, 8 years with BS/BA, 6 years with MS/MA, 3 years with PhD
• DoD 8570 IAT II Certification
• DoD TS/SCI clearance
• Experience with ACAS and STIG compliance

Responsibilities

• Designs and guides the implementation of vulnerability scanning and management tools, strategies and reporting systems across the Enterprise
• Identifies operational and architectural improvements and supports the design and implementation of approved solutions
• Performs daily administration and troubleshooting of system security on endpoints
• Scans, identifies, and remediates vulnerabilities using ACAS per Government guidelines
• Troubleshoots endpoints and servers and conducts compliance scans with ACAS
• Troubleshoots Endpoint protection product issues and outages
• Coordinates and plans authorized system interruptions as needed
• Maintains system patches and OS patches per Security Policies
• Ensures STIG compliance
• Scans systems and assists the team in remediating vulnerabilities using ACAS
• Integrates and tests new and custom signatures on servers/workstations across the enterprise
