Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Possession of or ability to obtain a valid Class C California driver's license.
• Completion of some college coursework in criminology or police sciences is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Not a permanent appointment unless promoted after academy completion.
