Job summary

Nona FC is seeking an Academy Operations Coordinator to join our Soccer Operations team in Orlando. This full-time role focuses on coordinating game schedules, registrations, travel, and team logistics while supporting club events and communications.

The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment; bilingual skills and knowledge of soccer operations are a plus. On-site work with regular evenings and weekends during tournaments is expected.

Qualifications

  • Experience in soccer, youth sports, administration, event operations, customer service or a related field.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management, Business, Operations, Communications or related field preferred.
  • Experience with PlayMetrics, GotSport, SportsEngine or similar platforms preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Bilingual candidates encouraged; Spanish or Portuguese proficiency a plus.
  • Availability for evenings and weekends during tournaments, tryouts, major events, and peak periods.
  • Able to pass required background screening and obtain SafeSport certification.

Responsibilities

  • Help manage game schedules, calendars, league reschedules, and team information.
  • Maintain team schedules and operational information through PlayMetrics and other club platforms.
  • Support tournament registrations, deadlines, travel plans, hotel bookings, and team logistics.
  • Help manage player rosters and registration requirements for players and coaches.
  • Assist with registrations through USL, MLS, FYSA, US Club Soccer and others.
  • Support ITC requests and player documentation as needed.
  • Assist families with registrations, memberships, scheduling, and general questions.
  • Communicate with families, coaches, staff, referees, league reps, and partners.
  • Help organize tryouts, tournaments, camps, events, and community activities.
  • Assist with club marketing efforts and local outreach.

You may be coordinating game schedules, assisting families with registrations, preparing teams for a tournament, managing player information, supporting a club event, or helping solve an unexpected operational challenge.We are looking for someone who is eager to learn, ready to take initiative, and excited to grow within a fast-paced soccer organization. You will work closely with club leadership and gain experience in scheduling, player registration, team administration, event planning, family communication, travel coordination, and league operations.The position is primarily on-site and is expected to require approximately **40 hours per week**, primarily on weekdays.
