Job description

About the company

Biorce is a pioneering Healthtech company dedicated to revolutionizing drug development through the power of AI. We are passionate about accelerating medical advancements and improving patient outcomes.

Our team comprises seasoned clinical research professionals, data scientists, and AI experts, working collaboratively to bridge the gap between cutting-edge technology and real-world clinical needs.

With an unwavering commitment to revolutionise healthcare, we envision a world where all patients benefit from accelerated and cost-effective access to treatments. Biorce is poised to redefine the landscape of healthcare, shaping a future where innovation and accessibility converge for the betterment of humanity.

About the role

Following our successful expansion into the U.S. and continued growth across Europe, we are seeking an Academy Leader to help drive our Commercial learning and enablement function from our Barcelona hub. Reporting directly to our Global Head of Sales Academy, this person will play a critical role in turning our sales learning strategy into day-to-day execution on the frontline, accelerating time-to-ramp and driving sustained performance across SDR and AE teams.

Who We´re Looking For:

The Academy Leader is a high-energy, execution-focused operator with a passion for developing commercial talent in fast-growing, global environments. This person combines strong facilitation skills, sharp analytical thinking, and a modern L&D toolkit to design and deliver programs that move real pipeline metrics. They should be able to take clear learning frameworks and flawlessly operationalise them through onboarding, continuous learning, and coaching on the sales floor.

Key Responsibilities

1. Execution of New-Hire Onboarding (SDRs & AEs)

  • Program Delivery: Roll out and facilitate the multi-week onboarding curriculum, ensuring incoming SDRs master foundational skills (e.g., outbound prospecting, cold calling, objection handling) and AEs master core deal mechanics (e.g., discovery, value selling, negotiation, closing).
  • Time-to-Ramp Optimization: Monitor and actively compress the time it takes for new hires to achieve core pipeline milestones—accelerating speed-to-productivity against foundational role metrics (e.g., Sales Qualified Meetings [SQMs] for SDRs).
  • Certifications & Milestones: Administer the established certification framework (e.g., pitch checks, system dry-runs, mock discoveries) to ensure new hires successfully graduate into active pipelines.

2. Management of Continuous Learning & Upskilling

  • Skills Deployment: Coordinate and deliver advanced training modules to address live performance gaps across the existing sales floor, focusing on areas like advanced discovery, competitive intelligence, and macro-economic selling strategies.
  • Product & Market Enablement: Partner closely with Marketing, Science, and Product Management to roll out training on product releases, technical updates, and industry trends using predefined sales plays.
  • Playbook Maintenance: Keep internal Sales Playbooks, messaging guides, sequence templates, and discovery assets up-to-date and organised as strategies evolve.

3. Technology, LMS, & Analytics Management

  • Academy Administration: Manage the organisation, content repository, and deployment of our learning tools to ensure learning paths are intuitive and easily accessible.
  • Engagement Tracking: Monitor and analyse learner engagement, completion rates, and assessment scores to ensure compliance and accountability across the team.
  • Data-Driven Evaluation: Correlate Academy completion rates and training engagement with actual CRM performance data. Track how effectively enablement programmes move core pipeline advancement metrics (e.g., demos, proposals, and deals closed for AEs).

4. Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Coaching & Mentorship: Act as an auxiliary coach for reps on the floor, running call-calibration sessions and providing constructive feedback on recorded calls and emails.
  • Frontline Alignment: Sync regularly with SDR and AE leadership to ensure Academy delivery matches live frontline needs and management expectations.
Requirements
Must-Haves:
  • 5+ years of experience dedicated to Training & Development / Learning & Development, preferably within a fast-growing global tech, biotech, or corporate environment.
  • Multi-Market Experience: A proven track record of designing and delivering impactful training programs across distributed teams in both the U.S. and European markets.
  • Consultative Approach: Exceptional ability to conduct needs assessments and build relationships with cross-functional, highly technical leadership teams.
  • Modern L&D Toolkit: Deep knowledge of instructional design models, adult learning theories, and modern learning tech ecosystems (LMS, micro-learning tools, digital adoption platforms).
  • Strong Facilitation Skills: An engaging presenter and facilitator, equally comfortable commanding a room in person or hosting an interactive workshop over virtual sessions.
  • Fluency in English: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills (English is our primary global business language).
Nice-to-Haves:
  • Experience working within Healthtech, Life Sciences, or AI-driven companies.
  • Experience scaling L&D initiatives from scratch during a company's hyper-growth phase.
  • Familiarity with the Apple ecosystem and Google Workspace environment.

  • A dynamic work environment with an international team, where collaboration and diversity thrive.
  • Work alongside top talent, united by a shared purpose and committed to making a real impact.
  • Get equipped with a MacBook to enhance your productivity and work experience.
  • Benefits package designed to support you and your family’s overall well-being.
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance options, effective from your start date or shortly thereafter depending on location.
  • Hybrid work model offering flexibility to balance your professional and personal life.
  • Company events to celebrate achievements and enjoy time together.
  • Our office is pet-friendly! You’ll likely be greeted by a few wagging tails upon arrival.
