Burnet County Sheriff’s Office is seeking an entry-level Cadet who will be sponsored to attend a TCOLE-approved academy. Cadet status requires entrance capability and age 21 by graduation, with probationary employment conditional on academy success.

This role involves working under close supervision and complying with all standards. Applicants must have a High School Diploma or GED and a valid driver’s license.

Aufgaben

• Maintain academic viability in the approved law enforcement academy as required.
• Report to assigned personnel within the Burnet County Sheriff’s Office regarding academy status and needs.
• Adhere to all BCSO and Burnet County standards and policies.
• Attend all classes, training activities, demonstrations, or other events listed in the academy schedule.
• Maintain professional bearing and comportment while at the academy.
• Meet or exceed the minimum physical fitness curriculum established by the academy.
• Report any injury or condition that may affect compliance with academy and BCSO requirements.
• Cadet may be assigned duties at the BCSO when the academy is not in session.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
