The University of Cincinnati Blue Ash College invites applications for an Academic Tutor in the Writing and Study Skills Center. This part-time, benefits-eligible role supports UCBA students with writing, reading, study skills, and success strategies, in person or online.

Reporting to the WSSC Program Manager, tutors provide individualized sessions, collaborate with faculty, and help students create effective study plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in English or related discipline is required.
• One year of teaching or tutoring experience required; or one year of relevant professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized, tailored tutoring.
• Guide students needing help with classwork.
• Collaborate with faculty to provide supplemental instruction.
• Help students develop study plans and strategies.
• Participate in staff professional development.
• Perform related duties as needed.
