Broward College is seeking part-time tutors to support students in the Academic Success Center (ASC) or assigned departments. Tutoring spans one-on-one and small groups across subjects such as accounting, English, math, science, and languages.

Tutors work in the Academic Success Center (ASC) or assigned department, both one-on-one and in small groups, to help students better understand course concepts, become independent learners, and succeed in and out of the classroom. In addition, the tutor will share learning, studying, and test-taking strategies and perform some clerical duties to support the functions of the ASC. Tutoring subjects include accounting, basic computer concepts, economics, English, English for academic purposes, math, science, and modern foreign language. The ideal candidate must possess excellent time management, customer service, and verbal and written communication skills. Variable work hours may include evenings and weekends up to 27.5 per week, and work schedules are arranged on a semester-by-semester basis and are dependent on the department's needs.
Bachelor degree or higher or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Tutoring experience in subject area strongly preferred.
