Qualifications

• Associate’s degree with 6–9 credits in the relevant tutoring discipline and a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• At least one year of relevant tutoring or academic support experience.
• Demonstrated interpersonal skills, including empathy, patience and organization.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and small-group tutoring sessions, in person and/or online.
• Serve as an academic coach/mentor to support independent learning and study habits.
• Assist students with institutional technologies and platforms related to coursework.
• Maintain records of tutoring sessions and monitor student progress.
• Collaborate with faculty to coordinate tutoring resources and outreach.
• Develop and update supplemental learning resources (handouts, guides, videos, workshops).
• Support inclusive, student-centered learning environments.
