Qualifications

• MD degree (or foreign equivalent).
• Board eligibility (or foreign equivalent) by the American Board of Surgery, incl. all USMLE steps.
• Eligible for medical licensure in the state of Washington.

Responsibilities

• Perform surgical transplantation procedures and participate in clinics and donor evaluation at UWMC-Montlake and SCH.
• Involve in candidate selection, pre- and postoperative care, and donor organ recovery.
• Participate in the standard call schedule on abdominal organ systems.
• Engage in teaching, research, and service; contribute to resident/fellow training.
• Collaborate with the department on program development and educational activities.
