Job summary

Banner Health's Department of Surgery at Banner University Medical Center Phoenix is actively interviewing thoracic surgeons to join a fully staffed multidisciplinary team on campus.

The successful candidate will develop a full-time general thoracic surgery practice (lung transplant optional), educate residents and medical students, and pursue clinical and basic science research with a faculty appointment commensurate with credentials.

Qualifications

• ABoS and ABO thoracic board certification or eligible.
• Academic and research setting; teaching residents, fellows, medical students.
• All aspects of general thoracic surgery with lung transplant.
• Experience in minimally invasive and robotic techniques.
• Experienced clinical faculty and graduating thoracic surgeons welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Develop a full-time general thoracic surgery practice (lung transplant optional).
• Educate residents and medical students; participate in clinical and basic science research.
• Receive a faculty appointment commensurate with credentials.
