Job Description

Coleman Elementary is seeking a part-time Title I Academic Support Specialist to provide targeted instruction in math and literacy for students in need of additional academic support. This position focuses on small group and one-on-one intervention, working closely with classroom teachers and support staff to help improve student achievement and close learning gaps.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide direct instruction in math and literacy to identified students.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to align intervention with core curriculum.
• Monitor and document student progress using assessment data.

Required Qualifications:

• Must hold a RI Elementary Teaching Certificate
