Job summary

Mount Mercy University in Cedar Rapids, IA, invites applications for an Academic Support Coordinator position within Access & Disability Services (ADS) and Academic Coaching & Enrichment (ACE). The role supports students, faculty, and staff and may require evening/weekend hours.

Qualifications

Requires a High School diploma and 3+ years in disability services or related field.
Proficiency with MS Excel and office productivity tools (Microsoft 365, Outlook, Teams, Adobe).
Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality per FERPA, ADAA and institutional policies.

Responsibilities

Provides in-person, direct support to faculty, students, and administrative staff with dependable attendance during scheduled hours.
Perform general office tasks for ADS and ACE including data entry, filing, processing supplies, and invoices.
Confidentially manage testing schedules and procedures and handle testing materials and data.
Coordinate alternative testing processes and procedures.
Assist with setup and training of assistive technology for students registered with ADS.
Support Peer Educator program scheduling and time-clock processes as requested by ACE staff.
Assist with campus communication for ADS and ACE events and schedules.
