Mercy College of Health Sciences in Des Moines, IA, is seeking an admissions professional to coordinate enrollment management plans with academic leadership and to grow applications. You will recruit through high schools and healthcare facilities within the territory and counsel applicants on policies and prerequisites.
You will collaborate with advisors to ensure student success from inquiry to graduation and help identify opportunities for program expansion with support for funding resources.

Organizes, plans, and executes strategic enrollment management plans with program chairs and academic leadership. Builds target budget to grow applications and enrollments.
Researches, determines, plans, implements and conducts on and off-campus recruitment with high schools, colleges, and healthcare facilities within assigned territory.
Counsels prospective students and applicants regarding College admissions’ policies and procedures, program admission requirements and procedures, and prerequisite course requirements and equivalences.
Collaborates with academic advisors to ensure student success from inquiry to graduation
Identifies and evaluatesopportunities for program expansion through regional and nationalpartnerships. Supports the Financial Aid Office by providing information about options and resources for funding.
Identifies areas for continuousimprovement to curriculum, admissions standards, transferability of credit, process improvement, and pricing structure. Provides recommendations and enhancements to management.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree.
Valid and current Iowa driver’s license.
Ability to work weekends and evenings.
Ability to travel overnight.
Strong interpersonal, oral, written and presentation communication skills.
Excellent attention to detail.
Two years’ experience in admissions, higher education, or a healthcare environment preferred.
