Job summary

Berlin Middle School in Delaware, Ohio is seeking an Academic Success Building Substitute for the 2026-2027 school year. Qualified candidates must be a certified substitute with ESCCO and hold or be eligible for Ohio licensure. Preference given to ELA and/or Math certifications.

Job Description

There will be a Academic Success Building Substitute position at Berlin Middle School for the 2026-2027 school year. Prefer 4-9 ELA and/or Math Certification.

Qualified candidates will be employed through the Educational Service Center of Central Ohio (ESCCO) and must hold or be eligible for valid and appropriate licensure for each position with the Ohio Department of Education and be active on Frontline Absence Management as a certified substitute with ESCCO. Essential functions: ensure the safety of students; demonstrate knowledge of subject matter; create a classroom environment that is conducive to learning; follow the scope and sequence of the instructional program; and, observe ethics of the teaching profession.

Certified substitutes are compensated at a rate of $155/day (no benefits)
