ES/MS/HS Long-Term District Pool Substitutes - ESCCO/OLSD

Join to apply for the ES/MS/HS Long-Term District Pool Substitutes - ESCCO/OLSD role at Olentangy Local School District.

There will be multiple elementary, middle, and high school Long-Term District Pool Substitute positions available within Olentangy Schools for the 2021-2022 school year.

District Pool Substitutes will be compensated at a rate of $165 per workday (no benefits) and assigned to a primary building within the district, but could be directed to an alternate building/assignment based on daily need. Qualified candidates will be employed through the Educational Service Center of Central Ohio (ESCCO), must hold or be eligible for valid and appropriate licensure for each position with the Ohio Department of Education (ODE), and must be active on Frontline Absence Management as a certified substitute with ESCCO. Required knowledge, skills, and abilities include ensuring student safety, demonstrating subject matter knowledge, creating a conducive learning environment, following the instructional scope and sequence, and observing professional ethics.

Eligible candidates must complete all required fields in the certified application, including a current resume and letter of interest in the 'Attachments' section. External candidates must also complete an online Teacher Educators' Professional Inventory (EPI) Assessment via a link sent under a separate email. The assessment is timed and takes approximately 45 minutes. Once started, it must be completed.
