Job summary

University of Oklahoma is seeking an Academic Advisor to support undergraduate programs in the Gallogly College of Engineering. You will conduct individual advising, guide degree planning, and maintain student records while responding to inquiries with a welcoming, student-centered approach.

Primary hours are regular business days with occasional evenings or weekends; opportunities for professional development and NACADA-aligned standards-based training are provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience in academic advising or student support preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Conducting individual academic advising appointments for a designated caseload.
• Guiding students in formulating academic plans and degree requirements.
• Maintaining student records and responding to inquiries in a timely manner.
• Engaging in institutional retention and degree progress initiatives.

Education

Bachelor's degree

Master's degree preferred
