Overview

University Health Physicians (UHP) is a multi‑specialty academic group practice affiliated with the University of Missouri‑Kansas City School of Medicine (UMKC SOM) and the University Health (UH) teaching facility.

Responsibilities

• Patient management in the newly renovated Labor & Delivery unit
• Full‑scope outpatient OB/GYN management in new clinics
• Operating‑room opportunities, including daVinci robotic surgery
• Care of antepartum and postpartum patients
• Coverage for GYN inpatients with full‑spectrum operating and emergency surgical care for gynecologic patients presenting through the ED
• Opportunity for private patient care at University Health
• Serve as an expert clinical resource for L&D staff with routine patient assessment and triage
• Supervise and instruct UMKC OB/GYN residents and UMKC School of Medicine rotating students
