Job summary

University Health Physicians, the academic group practice for the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine, seeks a full-time faculty member in the Department of OB/GYN at University Health to provide full-scope obstetric and gynecologic care in the office and hospital setting.

The ideal candidate is BC/BE OB/GYN; teaching residents and medical students is expected, with opportunities for daVinci robotic surgery and academic scholarship. Salary commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities

• Patient management in the Labor & Delivery unit.
• Full-spectrum outpatient OB/GYN care in new clinics.
• GYN operating room opportunities including daVinci robotic surgery.
• Care of antepartum and postpartum patients.
• Coverage for GYN inpatients including emergency surgical care.
• Serve as clinical resource for L&D staff with routine patient assessment.
• Supervise and instruct UMKC OB/GYN residents and medical students.
