Job summary

Baylor Scott and White Health in Temple, TX, is seeking an outstanding academic BC/BE Thoracic Surgeon to join the Division of Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive non-cardiac thoracic surgery and contribute to disease-based program growth with Oncology and Pulmonary Medicine.

Join a team using advanced techniques including VATS and robotics. Academic appointment at Assistant/Associate/Full Professor level may be offered with strong research support

Qualifications

• Residency or Fellowship training in Cardiothoracic Surgery.
• Experience in an academic setting preferred.
• 5+ years of post-training experience preferred, but exceptions possible.

Responsibilities

• Provide full spectrum non-cardiac adult thoracic surgical services including benign and malignant disorders.
• Contribute to growth of disease-based programs in Oncology and Pulmonary Medicine.
• Maintain high-quality care and participate in teaching and mentoring.
